Al-Hijr, The Rocky Tract

The fifteenth surah of the Qur'an, 99 ayahs, revealed in Makkah. Al-Hijr is the rocky valley where Thamud carved their homes.

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Indeed, it is We who sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will guard it. (15:9)
